I keep reading the above headline as "Lupita Is Boss," and SHE IS. This is so beyond beautiful. It's going to, I predict, stand the test of 2016 and remain one of my favorite dresses. I adore it, and am doubly chuffed to see it coming from a label we don't usually see. It's as if Jason Wu for Boss is having an Oscar de la Renta moment.

I rather love this too, actually. The color is luxe, the cutout is cute -- if slightly like a very sharply rooted molar - and her shoes appear to be NAVY. Sold.

Fun fact about this actress: She is the first African-American woman to play Hamlet (which she did at the Wilma Theatre in Philly). She's a very interesting lady. And she looks smashing.

I want another crack at the bodice on this one.

She and Pascale were nominated for Best Featured Actress in a Play. This is a bit shiny for me, and I wouldn't have given up on the texture the way this does around her mid-thighs. But...

... she appears to have had a BLAST entering in a gale force wind, and I REALLY enjoy that her dress is lined with red-orange. It looks a lot better in this picture than it did when she was standing still, partly because you can't TELL here that it just turns plain at the bottom. See? Some nits are worth picking.

I just thought this photo was stunning.

I didn't have a pic in our subscription of Akosua. I suspect her dress is not my flavor of ice cream, but I LOVE her accessories.
