Uzo Aduba in custom Cong Tri (for Clyde's)
I am actually pulling a switch and starting with Uzo, for boring reasons. I want to love this, because it has texture and it's shimmery and the bodice is trying something, but this is custom and it doesn't feel like it. I found (too late) a better front view, and... it doesn't improve things that much. The lesson is, never leave the loving arms of Christian Siriano.

At least this fits her though! It's made with precision... it's just also a completely bonkers bodice. The slice across the bra top is so strange, especially when in the previous slide you can see that it fairly easily went wonkus. I do LOVE the drama of the skirt, though, and the arm hackles are ENTERTAINING anyway?
I love this. She looks like a cornish pasty.

That's more like it, Christian! Rachel looks beautiful, if also like she made a glove out of one lacy knee-high.

I am unenthused. The color looked a bit lighter on TV but still not great. It just comes off like a musty cross-stitch.

So, I was about to say that she will always be the mom from Flight of the Navigator to me, and it turns out that wasn't even her! It was Veronica Cartwright. So... now to me Julie White is Foxy Tony Nominee and Actress With Long IMDb Page. She looks great.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson (for Take Me Out)
I love that he appears to be jumping for joy here, as this is BEFORE he won. He seems excited and the whole room seemed pretty thrilled for him.
Alfie Allen (for Hangmen)
This is very sleek.
Ron Cephas Jones (for Clyde's)
He looks dapper as always. I am pretty sure I type that exact sentence every time I see him. I was just reading an article in EW about how they cast This Is Us, and thinking about how perfect he was in that part and how sometimes the people in those jobs just get it achingly right.
Michael Oberholtzer (for Take Me Out)
He seemed sort of sad to lose -- which I say with respect. I may have read that wrong, obviously, but I am ALL IN on people caring about stuff. Imagine the pressure to have a completely neutral expression or clap wildly as if you don't care even a LITTLE that you lost. It's okay to be sad if something potentially cool did not happen! It doesn't mean you aren't happy for the winner! And yes, his suit is perfectly nice.
Jesse Williams (for Take Me Out)
And he also looks charming. All three actors nominated from this show got particularly big rounds of applause, or so it seemed.
