Tonys 2024: Folks Wearing Black

Audra McDonald

This is overall very dishy, although I find her white shoes peeking out there to be somewhat distracting.

Jennifer Hudson

I didn't get a shot of her on the red carpet and you know what? That's fine. Because here we can all admire her cute glasses!

Juliana Canfield

So I'm pleased to note that I absolutely love this. Big week for Jess from Succession!! Nominated for a Tony and now this!!

Brody Grant

This kid looks cool, but more than that: He's the lead in The Outsiders and he NAILED his performance on the telecast. He was great.

Anthony Ramos

Anthony Ramos is WEARING a shirt that looks like he's NOT wearing a shirt and overall the vibe here is....sleazier than he usually reads. (The suit itself is great.) This has to have been something that read better in person.

Elle Fanning in Saint Laurent

I did not think Elle Fanning and Anthony Ramos were going to find themselves in a Who Wore It Better?

Elle Fanning

I absolutely am giving this one to Elle.

Nicolette Robinson and Leslie Odom Jr.

Leslie Odom Jr. looks very dapper and handsome; Nicolette's blue-lined train is GORGEOUS.

Eli Gelb

This man is in a play set in the 1970s and you can tell! (I do think that suit is pretty boss, though.)

Idina Menzel in Naeem Khan

This dress is good on her AND it will hypnotize everyone into doing whatever she wants....perhaps including my saying that it's good on her?? Now I'm in crisis

Brian d'Arcy James

Standard issue handsome!

Eddie Redmayne

Eddie Redmayne always poses like he's in an ad for wristwatches.

Sarah Pidgeon

I'm not hugely enamoured of those shoes but overall, she looks very beautiful and elegant here.

Natalie Gold

The pattern on this dress is delightful -- I think it is dresses! I wish we could SEE it better.

Rachel McAdams

This was regrettably a bit sheer and I suspect inadvertently so. Her head looks so good!

Jeremy Strong

This suit is actually brown -- or maybe an olive green? -- but we decided to put him in here with his fellow Successioneers. This is kooky but elegant, which seems right for him.
