# Two Other Festivals Were Happening in Venice's Shadow

Venice has been particularly grand and sweeping this year, which means the Deauville and Telluride fests (in France and Colorado) dropped off the radar extra sharply. Telluride honestly looks amazing -- so many photos outdoors in gorgeous settings. (We here in L.A. are easily captivated by GREEEEEENERY because ours is all drying and dying.)

Emma Corrin is there for *Lady Chatterley's Lover*:

I didn't recognize them at first. But honestly, this is a blip; I think what we're all hoping for is an explosion of camp at the *My Policeman* screenings, because Emma and Harry Styles share a stylist and often a vibe. So, cool, meander around Colorado looking like you're bringing back grunge! Just make it EXTRA later. Deal?

This is allegedly Robert Downey, Jr., promoting *Sr*., [a documentary about his father](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-reviews/sr-robert-downey-jr-chris-smith-telluride-1235213462/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). And also giving safari tours.

Cate won a Silver Medallion for overall awesomeness, and is also there for *Tar*. Is there a gold medallion?!?

That's Claire Foy and Rooney Mara, the latter wearing a coat that I probably need for my own collection, as it's Notre Dame colors. They're with Sarah Polley, who has a movie called *Women Talking* that also stars Frances McDormand, Judith Ivey, and Jessie Buckley. I am so happy Sarah is BACK. Also, seriously, after Venice, how cute and chill does this look?

There's a peek of something dressy under there, but the coat. THE COAT. It's a great winter coat. Anne's been doing super slinky stuff lately, if I remember correctly, so this probably is a welcome break.
