Trayvon Martin, unarmed and 17, was killed by a neighborhood watchman in 2012.

Ahmaud, 23 and jogging at the time, was killed after being chased by a white man and his son.

Elijah, 23, died after being placed in a 15-minute chokehold by police and then sedated with ketamine when he repeatedly said he couldn't breathe and was vomiting and apologizing. These were his last words.

Breonna Taylor was shot in her home by police officers Jon Mattingly, Myles Cosgrove, and Brett Hankison.

Naomi's gear is vibrantly colorful. It also appears to.... have shorts over a shorts-unitard?

Maybe these are three different pieces, or two different ones... but it LOOKS like shorts worn over the spandex, which are bunching up in weird places. The colors are fun but the approach to the bottoms seems like reinventing something that didn't need to be reinvented.

Open backs are popular this year, too -- or, cutouts in general. You shall soon see more.

What did I tell you?!?

This is Venus's own line, and it is... very average? I think it would look better as a tennis dress rather than as two pieces.

This one is worse, though. Nike has been wildly hit or miss with her outfits, and this beige just seems too dull for Serena.

This photo makes me laugh. "It's beige. I know. SHRUG."

"I agree! What can I tell you! I had to wear SOMETHING while the red was at the cleaners."

Nike's other color schemes are so different. I like Naomi's color blocking better than this, I think.

I'm assuming her shorts are tucked up because she had a ball up in her underwear? Or... something? It doesn't seem like The Style.

Look who's back! He did not dress for glitz, per usual, but that's okay. He had enough to deal with, as it's been a while for him due to a LOT of injuries and surgeries.

It was also awesome to see Clijsters coming back. She ALSO went for simplicity rather than sizzle, and worked with the "independently owned, Black female-led brand" Full Court Sport. Awesome. I have always loved Clijsters and this affirms it.

She was upset in the second round, while wearing a very cute tennis skirt. BUT IS SHE ACTUALLY DATING STAN WAWRINKA?

I swear, I had a DVF dress in this same print.

"My dress is good! YES!"

The men's version of the Nike gear is, SHOCKINGLY, blue. And the women are in, SHOCKINGLY, pink, with the exception of...

... Sloane here, who netted a purple and orange one. But it looks like someone at Nike spilled paint on their outfit sketches.

This has a real 1980s Penthouse Living Room In A Music Video feel to it.

Yes, of COURSE I'm going to nitpick: I wouldn't have done the black visor. The shorts are also very meh.

I am definitely into the green, but at that length... maybe THIS should have been shorts.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT? SHORTS OR SKIRTS? I CAN'T KEEP UP WITH YOU PEOPLE."

I enjoy this semi-sinister-looking shirt, especially with the yellow kicks.

I appreciate the Bjorn Borg-esque headband/long hair of it all.

I like all the rich pinks on the dudes, though.

Djoker had a rough week. In frustration, he whacked a ball and it ricocheted and hit a lineswoman in the neck, which earned him an automatic disqualification -- and her, apparently, some death threats, because people decided she was flopping. He came out and asked people not to say that stuff, but... yeah. It was Something.

Well, these two do not go together, and the mismatched left shoe is not helping.

"Kick-ball-change and JAZZ HANDS!"

That shirt is some real Miami Dolphins shit right there.

Her version is better.

She's pretty much an unknown, I think -- as is Jennifer Brady actually -- so I feel like the basics here are not a huge surprise. After this, I bet she'll get fancy free duds from someone, as well she should.

I think he needs orange shoes with this. UZO ADUBA WHERE ARE YOU.

I actually can't TELL if that's shorts or a skirt. I do like the pattern on her sides, though.

I'm into this neon ensemble, and also, this is the part of these posts where I repeat that I don't know how any of these people have knees left.

Whereas Daniil is like, "Ballet? OKAY."

Ah, yes, all black: simple, basic, effective.
