I have very little comprehension of this. It's like the dress version of Pretty Little Liars. I enjoy elements of it, but honestly, I can't explain what's happening overall and I'm not sure I want to try. It almost looks like a satin sling -- like the one part is holding itself in place purely by yoking itself to her neck.

I don't love the blouse under it, either, but... I mean, step one is losing the purple half of the top, right? And just keeping the skirt? I suppose the designer could have tried FINISHING THE DRESS also and maybe we'd see where we stood. I just... ugh, "complicated" doesn't automatically mean "good." Sometimes looking directional does a girl no favors.

But, we can at least enjoy her makeup. The lipstick was well-played, at least. Small comfort?
