Believe it or not, I actually really like the IDEA of these pants. I'm just not sure that (a) they're right for this event and (b) they're being appropriately deployed. I feel like the legs of the pants need to be wider? Or the waist lower? Or both? They might be great with a white oxford shirt, on the lanai, with cocktails, rather than on the red carpet.

There is something deeply weird about a job that involves staring at someone's butt for twenty minutes trying to decide how you feel about the way her pants look. I'm just needed to share that.

Aw. I might not like her pants, but I love her boyfriend. Even if he does look like he just stumbled out of his cabin in the woods, mumbling, "wait, is Y2K OVER? WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ME?"
