Where are her hands? Why is this pulling across her chest? And in the arm region? What is that diagonal seam doing, other than... create needless geometry? Is that a pretty pattern, or a bunch of evil flowers cackling at me in some kind of Felix the Cat hallucinogenic nightmare? And HOW CAN WE FIX IT. I don't think the front of this, at least from the waist up, is flattering at all.

I'd start by making the sleeves the right length. Sincerely. She looks like a petulant and/or self-conscious middle-schooler stretching her sweater over her hands. I know because I was one such middle-schooler.
From this angle, the top seems to work better. Maybe it just hadn't gotten dislodged yet. I can also see another diagonal seam ABOVE her chest, I think? I still don't think either of them does anything other than create confusion, though. And the rippled sleeve still bugs. I'd want someone to take another pass at tailoring this mother.

At least the back works, as a sexy foil to the shenanigans on the flip side.
