(And I do think this was wind, and not her just flipping it up; it seemed like there was a breeze on this day.) When you see it like this, there's something more ethereal about it... ## Vanessa Hudgens in custom Vera Wang ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2022/06/shutterstock_editorial_12973846dr-1654486886.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Broadimage/Shutterstock (12973846dr) Vanessa Hudgens MTV Movie and TV Awards, Arrivals, Barker Hanger, Los Angeles, California, USA - 05 Jun 2022 ... and when it's like this, it's just sort of like when you pull a Kleenex out of the box and none of them want to break apart from the others so suddenly you've pulled out seven. It's at least well-made, and not heinous, which with Vera have NOT been givens lately. But it's a real wisp of a thing. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/06/shutterstock_editorial_12973839l-1654486915.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chris Pizzello/AP/Shutterstock (12973839l) Host Vanessa Hudgens speaks at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards - Show, Santa Monica, United States - 05 Jun 2022 She opened the show in this, and it's SO much better. I would have wanted to wear this dress all night. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/06/GettyImages-1401247855-1654486877.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - JUNE 05: Host Vanessa Hudgens speaks onstage during the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards at Barker Hangar on June 05, 2022 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Rich Polk/Getty Images for MTV) Vanessa did well with the pre-recorded bits, but she's not great at hosting -- either her giggle is a nervous tic, or she forces it too often because she's scared the banter won't land. Either way, she tried to tell a joke here about how this is what people would wear if she styled Squid Games, or something? And yeah. Didn't work. But I would be open to someone wearing this at the Olympics as their Opening Ceremony costume. ## in Valentino ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/06/shutterstock_editorial_12973839cf-1654486907.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chris Pizzello/AP/Shutterstock (12973839cf) Vanessa Hudgens appears on stage at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards - Show, Santa Monica, United States - 05 Jun 2022 Wow, how hard can one Valentino balloon push on a girl's boobs? ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/06/shutterstock_editorial_12973834h-1654486923.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chris Pizzello/AP/Shutterstock (12973834h) Host Vanessa Hudgens appears at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards - Show, Santa Monica, United States - 05 Jun 2022 "Too much? She looks like Sexy Half Pint meets Dorothy meets Holly Hobbie. I have never yearned for that vibe, but there's a 12-month calendar somewhere that's up for it. (OKAY apparently this is a Euphoria reference? I have not been able to bring myself to watch that show yet.)
