I wish she'd put on some lipstick -- that will be on my gravestone -- but I LOVE the Ironed-Out DIsco Ball feel of this. So sparkly.

Unfortunately there appears to have been a serving of Buttock Surprise. Not that we can see a ton, but it's always unsettling to see a super cute minidress and then suddenly there is Paltrow-esque flank on display and people become quietly afraid.

Her head looked way off all night, though. Her makeup isn't great, and her hair looked horrible. I suspect this girl is worn to the bone, going from shooting Mockingjay (and mourning a co-star) straight to X-Men, with all this in between. And my theory on the hair is that SHE hates it ALSO and is just trying to ride this out -- I'm wondering if she cut it because she has to wear a wig as Katniss (I THINK she started doing that, anyway) and so this is less to stuff up under it, and for X-Men I think they slick her hair back anyway so it doesn't matter how long it is, so she cut it off to make her life easier and then now she's stuck with it for a while. That, or someone in her circle convinced her it only looks formal if she greases it back, which: WRONG. This AND her other Dior would've looked infinitely sassier if she'd fluffed and spiked that cut and owned its attitude.

My other TOTALLY BASELESS theory is that if she'd won the Oscar she would have had to wear a Dior to the post-party as well. Just a total guess there.
