(Photo by Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic) This totally works -- as noted before, her styling team has settled in nicely. [This is based on a longer Carolina Herrera dress](https://www.instagram.com/p/C0XTO%5FNAmVL/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and I think she ALSO would've looked great if she'd worn it as it was. But I can see why they noodled with it to fit the phase she's in now. ## Billie Eilish ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/12/GettyImages-1827153984-1701640209.jpg) HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - DECEMBER 02: Billie Eilish attends the 2023 Variety Hitmakers Brunch at NYA WEST on December 02, 2023 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by David Livingston/WireImage) Her exquisite taste in baseball aside, I don't LOVE this outfit on its own merits, but I DO appreciate that it has a little personality. So often she's just buried in layers of black or ugly Vuitton print. ## St. Vincent ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/12/GettyImages-1827560994-1701640319.jpg) HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - DECEMBER 02: St. Vincent attends the 2023 Variety Hitmakers Brunch at NYA WEST on December 02, 2023 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic) Surely even her rose-colored glasses didn't make this seem fun? ## Maren Morris in Vivienne Westwood ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/12/GettyImages-1827560481-1701640309.jpg) HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - DECEMBER 02: Maren Morris attends the 2023 Variety Hitmakers Brunch at NYA WEST on December 02, 2023 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic) It's not uncommon for a Vivienne Westwood to look like rumpled bedsheets, but that doesn't mean it always WORKS. I don't think this is the best execution of that, but the color at least works on her. I honestly think she should've gone all-in and worn [the aggressively wacky boots](https://www.instagram.com/p/C0XRF79gufh/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). ## Sabrina Carpenter ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/12/GettyImages-1827559392-1701640299.jpg) HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - DECEMBER 02: Sabrina Carpenter attends the 2023 Variety Hitmakers Brunch at NYA WEST on December 02, 2023 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic) This looks... a tiny bit stifling? ## Conan Gray in Rahul Mishra ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/12/GettyImages-1827558868-1701640289.jpg) HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - DECEMBER 02: Conan Gray attends the 2023 Variety Hitmakers Brunch at NYA WEST on December 02, 2023 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic) I enjoy this. I kind of want Charles Melton to go this direction with the May December events. ## Victoria Monet in Jean-Louis Sabaji ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/12/GettyImages-1827558337-1701640279.jpg) HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - DECEMBER 02: Victoria MoneĢt attends the 2023 Variety Hitmakers Brunch at NYA WEST on December 02, 2023 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic) All I can think of is the word "askew." ## Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/12/GettyImages-1827557205-1701640269.jpg) HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - DECEMBER 02: (L-R) Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker of boygenius attend the 2023 Variety Hitmakers Brunch at NYA WEST on December 02, 2023 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic) It's so interesting to me that Phoebe's vibe when she was promoting her solo work was the skeleton suits, and she's gotten a lot girlier with Boygenius. That is quite the 80s bow on her head. ## Julia Michaels ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/12/GettyImages-1827555036-1701640259.jpg) HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - DECEMBER 02: Julia Michaels attends the 2023 Variety Hitmakers Brunch at NYA WEST on December 02, 2023 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by David Livingston/WireImage) In addition to many other thoughts... that shirt doesn't even look COMFORTABLE. ## Babyface in Versace ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/12/GettyImages-1827281740-1701640240.jpg) HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - DECEMBER 02: Babyface attends the 2023 Variety Hitmakers Brunch at NYA WEST on December 02, 2023 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by David Livingston/WireImage) Wow! A gift visit from someone you don't see often, with a literal red bow on top. ## Flavor Flav ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/12/GettyImages-1827023317-1701640199.jpg) HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - DECEMBER 02: Flavor Flav attends Variety's Hitmakers presented by Sony Audio on December 02, 2023 in Hollywood, California.
