It is a more elaborate natural history junglescape than I usually expect on a skirt, and it probably doesn't need the turtleneck, but I AM pleased that she doesn't look boring. ## Emma Gonzalez in Proenza Schouler (shirt) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-5-1539552673.jpg) Variety’s Power of Women: Los Angeles Presented by Lifetime Featuring: Emma Gonzalez Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 12 Oct 2018 Credit: Apega/WENN.com I feel like you all know my thoughts on the pants, but I'd rather note that she is unbelievably poised; I can't imagine what it's like to find and keep your voice while you're processing unimaginable grief, and while being attacked as a "crisis actor." She has stood tall and proud. ## Intern G and Emma ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/london-film-festival-gfy-14-1539580020.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Katie Jones/Variety/REX/Shutterstock (9930166bh) George Clooney and Emma Gonzalez attends Variety's Power of Women presented by Lifetime at The Beverly Wilshire on October 12, 2018 in Beverly Hills. Variety's Power of Women Presented by Lifetime, Inside, Los Angeles, USA - 12 Oct 2018 Intern George introduced her and gave her a tight hug, for which we will HAPPILY accept his excuse-of-absence letter when it arrives. ## Tiffany Haddish ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-14-1539552777.jpg) Variety’s Power of Women: Los Angeles Presented by Lifetime Featuring: Tiffany Haddish Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 12 Oct 2018 Credit: Apega/WENN.com She looks GREAT. She apparently got up there and delivered grateful shoutouts to everything from Regina King's hair to the makers of her favorite weed paper, before concluding that she will never apologize for being herself. Amen. ## Lena Waithe ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-9-1539552719.jpg) Variety’s Power of Women: Los Angeles Presented by Lifetime Featuring: Lena Waithe Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 12 Oct 2018 Credit: Apega/WENN.com I seriously think Lena is sneaking into Pharrell's hat closet ## Gina Rodriguez and Regina King (in Oscar de la Renta) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-17-1539552815.jpg) Variety's Power Of Women: Los Angeles Featuring: Gina Rodriguez, Regina King Where: Beverly Hills, California, United States When: 13 Oct 2018 Credit: FayesVision/WENN.com Both of these women look lovely, although the jacket on Regina looks cut slightly errantly. There's some black poking out along the neckline that I don't think we're supposed to see. ## Thandie Newton in Carolina Herrera ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-13-1539552766.jpg) Variety’s Power of Women: Los Angeles Presented by Lifetime Featuring: Thandie Newton Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 12 Oct 2018 Credit: Apega/WENN.com Well. I honestly find myself wanting MORE ruffles in this situation, and maybe... alternating tiers of black or white dots ## Alyssa Milano ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-1-1539552627.jpg) The 2018 Varietys Power of Women Los Angeles Featuring: Alyssa Milano Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 12 Oct 2018 Credit: Apega/WENN.com Sure! I feel like that would've looked good on Meghan Markle. Which is neither here nor there; I just have her wardrobe on the brain because she's about to trot out a whole lot of it in Australia and New Zealand. ## Bebe Rexha ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-2-1539552639.jpg) Variety’s Power of Women: Los Angeles Presented by Lifetime Featuring: Bebe Rexha Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 12 Oct 2018 Credit: Apega/WENN.com This is Bebe Rexha, for sure. But somehow, from appearance to appearance, Bebe Rexha manages to look JUST different enough that I've decided there are actually three or four Bebe Rexha models that are trotted out at different events depending on what she's being asked to do. ## Elle King ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-4-1539552662.jpg) Variety’s Power of Women: Los Angeles Presented by Lifetime Featuring: Elle King Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 12 Oct 2018 Credit: Apega/WENN.com Well, I like her blazer. I might have gone with jeans that weren't torn. Or even black ones. ## Frankie Shaw ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-6-1539552686.jpg) Variety’s Power of Women: Los Angeles Presented by Lifetime Featuring: Frankie Shaw Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 12 Oct 2018 Credit: Apega/WENN.com I don't watch SMILF, but I've heard she's great on it. I like this well enough, but I did have to zoom in to see what the deal is with the buttons -- I thought for a second they were both only halfway through the button holes. But they seem to be weird shapes ## Jenifer Lewis ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-7-1539552697.jpg) Variety’s Power of Women: Los Angeles Presented by Lifetime Featuring: Jenifer Lewis Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 12 Oct 2018 Credit: Apega/WENN.com She's divine. ## Kellee Stewart ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-8-1539552709.jpg) Variety’s Power of Women: Los Angeles Presented by Lifetime Featuring: Kellee Stewart Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 12 Oct 2018 Credit: Apega/WENN.com I didn't recognize her at first -- she's from *My Boys*, and I gather something called *Midnight, Texas*. I want to fit this whole thing better and toss her mules into a donation bin. ## Olivia Culpo ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-11-1539552744.jpg) Variety’s Power of Women: Los Angeles Presented by Lifetime Featuring: Olivia Culpo Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 12 Oct 2018 Credit: Apega/WENN.com This started out and finsihed well, but WHAT is happening with the fastening around her groin and hem? It's like she glued it shut. With an Elmer's stick. WHILE she was wearing it. ## Olivia Hamilton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-12-1539552755.jpg) Variety’s Power of Women: Los Angeles Presented by Lifetime Featuring: Olivia Hamilton Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 12 Oct 2018 Credit: Apega/WENN.com That's VERY cute. ## Kathryn Hahn ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-15-1539552789.jpg) Variety's Power Of Women: Los Angeles Featuring: Kathryn Hahn Where: Beverly Hills, California, United States When: 13 Oct 2018 Credit: FayesVision/WENN.com I understand the beige shoes, but I still want to burn them. (The camisole is kind of boring, too; I wish it didn't need one, and then she could just jazz up her feet and not care.) ## John Stamos ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-16-1539552802.jpg) Variety's Power Of Women: Los Angeles Featuring: John Stamos Where: Beverly Hills, California, United States When: 13 Oct 2018 Credit: FayesVision/WENN.com It's fitting that noted lover of women John Stamos dropped by. ## Diane Warren ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/10/variety-power-of-women-2018-brunch-natalie-portman-gfy-3-1539552651.jpg) Variety’s Power of Women: Los Angeles Presented by Lifetime Featuring: Diane Warren Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 12 Oct 2018 Credit: Apega/WENN.com This makes me laugh. Any RBG sightings are fine by me.
