(Photo by Patrick T. Fallon / AFP) (Photo by PATRICK T. FALLON/AFP via Getty Images) For one of the first times in my entire professional life, I honestly do not know what to say about this photo. It is...an experience. I CAN say that I think they should have switched hair styles, or at least that Sydney needs much more directional hair than she has here. Sharon looks like she is a very weirdo art gallery owner who is going through something. Sydney sort of looks like she's a Marilyn Monroe superfan who is ALSO going through something. This is a very sexy look, it is...a...lot.....for this particular event. ## Jane Fonda and Wanda Sykes ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244075626-1761795515.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: (L-R) Jane Fonda and Wanda Sykes attend Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) Insert your joke about wanting this buddy comedy here. ## Nicole Scherzinger ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244075470-1761795505.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Nicole Scherzinger attends Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) This is arguably boring but also she looks GREAT in it. Here is where I note that I think it's weird that this event -- a party celebrating the Variety Power of Women Issue, which I wish was every issue! -- trends toward being sort of fancy, with full gowns. Let it be a normal cocktail event, bring back cocktail dresses! ## Kate Hudson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244076373-1761795525.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Kate Hudson attends Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) She looks great in this but also she could be going to the Emmys, or at least an important Emmys party. COCKTAIL DRESSES NOW. ## Karrueche Tran ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244069625-1761795417.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Karrueche Tran attends Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) This is, in fairness, also great and I LOVE this hair on her. ## Jenna Dewan ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244069770-1761795428.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Jenna Dewan attends Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) This is more the vibe, for my money, which is none. I might have opted for more jewelry, though. ## Julianne Hough in Rachel Gilbert ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244069937-1761795440.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Julianne Hough attends Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) A version of this gown is everywhere lately. It's like 95% super comfy and then pinchy as hell at the top. (But that does average out well.) This hair would have worked on Sydney, too, right? ## Taylor Dearden ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244067827-1761795407.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Taylor Dearden attends Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) Does this need...a jacket...or something? ## Malin Åkerman ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244070034-1761795451.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Malin √Ökerman attends Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) Perfect, no notes, carry on. ## Yvette Nicole Brown ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244070142-1761795461.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Yvette Nicole Brown attends Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) Perfect, no notes, carry on! ## Garcelle Beauvais ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244071628-1761795472.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Garcelle Beauvais attends Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) Perfect, no notes, carry on!! (Although I'd have given Garcelle a big chunky emerald ring with this.) ## Jamie Lee Curtis ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244071851-1761795483.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Jamie Lee Curtis attends Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) The black circle on her top looks like a slate plate used for a charcuterie plate. ## Brenda Song ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244074719-1761795494.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Brenda Song attends Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) I'm into it. ## Naturi Naughton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244076795-1761795535.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Naturi Naughton attends Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) This veers a little too costumey for me but it IS fun and her 60s-vibe is cute. ## Jordan Chiles and Aly Raisman ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244077670-1761795548.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: (L-R) Jordan Chiles and Aly Raisman attend Variety's 2025 Power of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images) I thought Aly was holding an award but I think it's a poodle-shaped purse! ## Eva Longoria ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244078612-1761795558.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Eva Longoria arrives at the Variety's 2025 Power Of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Steve Granitz/FilmMagic) See? Cocktail dresses. The Widow Longoria gets it. ## Karen Pittman in Carla Zampatti ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244078751-1761795569.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Karen Pittman arrives at the Variety's 2025 Power Of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Steve Granitz/FilmMagic) And this is so fun. ## Jurnee Smollett ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/10/GettyImages-2244079719-1761795580.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 29: Jurnee Smollett arrives at the Variety's 2025 Power Of Women at The Beverly Hills Hotel on October 29, 2025 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Steve Granitz/FilmMagic) She is so pretty. But do we, as a people, currently need an item of clothing that is half leotard/half gown? [The Annual Variety "Power of Women" Party Brought a Varied Red CarpetSharon Stone went unconventional!
