This... somehow doesn't quite work, right? It looks better in the sketch. I think the bodice sits a touch too low here, which makes the straps look silly. I wish we could hoik it and make it strapless. The butterfly is enough.

Olivia won Best Actress for portraying Queen Anne in The Favourite, and my goodness, that's a big trophy. It's bigger than an Oscar, AND easier to use with Champagne.

Sarah Jessica Parker in Prabal Gurung

This is a nice color, and has nifty cuffs. That slit is a lot more sexpot than we're used to on SJP, too, which is interesting. The wrap in the front bugs me, though. It feels like we can only see her bra by accident, rather than as a design desire, and that it could've been fitted better. It'd be so much cleaner without that glimpse of black.

She seems to be FEELING herself, though, because that's also quite a lot more cleav than we're used to with her. I mean, hey, if you're in the groove, work it. The dress itself is both nice, and also has the same issue as the previous one -- as in, it seems to dip below her bra in a way that seems unplanned or at least unnecessary.

Gorgeous dress. Just stunning. In some photos, also, Kate's face is starting to look like Marcia Gay Harden's to me. Just an observation.

That's not as successful for me because the pants look bored of themselves.

From the back this all has such a Blake Lively feel to it. Chloe and Chanel are odd bedfellows to me.

She appeared in a post with Natalie Portman (where they're helping Raffey Cassidy with her dress/shoes), but we couldn't really see the jumpsuit, and I regretted that. So I'm presenting it again. Because it is VEXING INDEED. It's like Karl had Pants Extenders sewn in, just in case, and then she activated them. And yet they make the whole thing seem stumpy because all I can do is focus on where the NORMAL pants end.

That is a super cute suit, and I wish she'd put the jacket on properly and not kept her hands in the pockets. The green shoes, though! I'm so delighted they aren't white.

This, though... it's a bit of a stuffy oversize blouse.

I didn't have a full photo of this where you could really see it; I think it's a jumpsuit. But I LOVE IT. Look how it gleams. It's so relaxed-looking but fun, and fancy, and she seems truly delighted. Her movie is about a girl released from juvie who reunites with her young sister, and it's great to see a female-driven movie like this get special recognition.

This is a pretty funky outfit; maybe a tad overstyled? But it has flair. Also, and this is not any kind of negative commentary, it's just something I noticed: In this photo she looks kind of like Daniel Radcliffe to me.

This is the cousin to Rita Ora's dress from the GQ Men of the Year awards, and... I feel like this entire sartorial branch of the family tree is a bunch of Death Eaters, basically.
