These two are so lovely, but I fear there has been a terrible jewelry shortage in Venice. Lady Mary, at least, certainly could use a wee bit of bling, no? That outfit is screaming for some shiny accessories.

I kind of hope this is how Lady Mary storms into the first scene of the new season of *Downton Abbey*: huge sunglasses, peevish expression, red lip, great bag, slightly visible bra.

This is a little wrinkly, but even I am willing to cut some slack for the fact that i think she just got off a boat in the middle of the day in September in Venice: I would look as if my ENTIRE BEING were MADE OF WRINKLES. It's charming, and one of the cutest looks she's worn in a long time. Well, I think. What do you think?

Apparently, several of the shorts are excellent -- and they're also a good excuse for actresses to pop over to Venice to wear Miu Miu and model great sunglasses. The Venice Film Festival has been brutal for my sunglasses fetish.
