That is a great color, but a pretty tricky cut. I think by emphasizing the pockets and kind of swirling it a little, she's giving it shape where it otherwise might just kinda hang.

I don't know where Jessica was headed -- not, it seems, to any of the premieres? [EDITED: She may have been at Hand of God and we just didn't have a shot of her there] -- but she certainly dressed to the nines. That is a mondo waist-high slit if you're just grabbing cocktails at the hotel bar. The color is so pretty on her; I wish the pretty detailing on the front weren't simply an overlay.
Also, do we agree she must be growing out a haircut she doesn't like, and so that's why she seems to have plastered and clipped the front down?

The photo ID on this was "The director Jane Campion," and I hope that's also on her driver's license, JUST like that. I enjoy her quirky ensemble. She looks comfy but still put-together.

Isabelle, I think, MIGHT just be there because she wears a lot of Armani, and Armani likes to dominate the red carpets in Venice. I was trying so hard to think where I knew this guy, and then it hit me: He was one of the princes in The Royals, which I briefly recapped, and also only briefly watched. I believe he was the tortured one whose older brother died and left him as the heir, but if I understand correctly, said brother turned up alive later. FIRE TED.
