I miss Vanessa Williams, so I just Googled her and found out she's supposed to be starring in a VH-1 series created by Star Jones and based on her book about being on The View. The book was Satan's Sisters, but the series got renamed Daytime Divas, and MAN, that's a more boring title. Anyway, it's promisingly dramatic and potentially evil, which is my favorite Vanessa Williams of all. That woman can cock a skeptical eyebrow. Love her, and love her cape dress.
Mariah Carey in Michael Costello

Apparently this is a custom gown called "Mariah," which sounds about right. Mariah would absolutely want any custom gown she wore to bear her name in some way. The construction isn't perfect, but I actually really like it on her. She's been in a sparkles rut lately, and the graceful cut of this is quite flattering.

She is as bored of this as I am.
JoJo

So, okay. JoJo, 26, is wearing what I BELIEVE to be a L'eggs catsuit, paired with a sequined wine caftan the likes of which Blanche Devereaux would have sold her roommates for? As the beans would say, "I did NOT expect THIS."
Chaka Khan

And Chaka is like, "JoJo, honey, YOU DIDN'T DREAM BIG ENOUGH."
