Taylor in Versace

Someone in our Drinks With Broads live chat thought this had Liz Hurley safety-pin vibes, and this IS also Versace, so that's probably intentional. She looks great -- it's hard to pull off dresses that cut you in unusual ways like this, but Taylor is doing it. And she wore this the WHOLE night, so it must have been comfy.

Anitta in Schiaparelli

She is so gorgeous -- she can really carry a LOT of look, which this definitely is. I wouldn't say it's a pretty dress, but the way it forms the keyhole and creates its own shape beyond that is at least interesting. Anitta said on the pre-show that she wanted to wear something sexy "in case someone hot shows up," and I think we can all agree that we hope she does not define attendee Jared Leto as hot.

Demi Lovato

Demi couldn't bring herself to alter any of Darth Vader's clothes; she felt it would be disrespectful to his legacy.

Rita Ora in Rodarte

The Make a Dress Out of the Black Curtains In The Wings of the Theater Challenge. (They're called Legs, but writing Make a Dress out of Legs Challenge evokes something so different.)

And she did bring along Taika.

Dove Cameron in Coach

That is good on her, and color me surprised to find out it's Coach.

Pretty Vee in Quine Li

This looks like imitation Balenciaga with a touch of Schiaparelli.

I actually think the sculpture of this is neat.

Bebe Rexha

Bebe just dumped her boyfriend because he made comments about her weight; she posted a whole long text message about it that insisted he was just telling her what she asked to hear, that he never said she wasn't beautiful, suggested she take notes on her feelings that she could share with a therapist, and then concluded by him suggesting she talk to him directly if she would like more clarity. It's really something. Bebe said she gained 30 lbs due to PCOS, and she's now self-conscious enough that she said she almost didn't come. Bebe! You are gorgeous.

But I am more concerned with WHY YOU HAVE A TAIL.

Shannon and Jared Leto

Jared Leto is still being invited to things.

Cyn Santana

So much lace. How do you wash your hands?

Nelly Furtado

Nelly presented with Timbaland. I think they're recording something together, and I THOUGHT I heard Justin Timberlake might be involved? So maybe she'll be back next year to do more than stand up on stage. It's a nice dress...

... which fortunately does NOT have a surprise tail.

Ayra Starr

That diamond choker is EXTREME.

Dom Fenison and Chanel West Coast

Dom is a "model and real estate agent" and HE IS TALL. I assumed I was going to look him up and find out he's an LA Clipper, but no. Her outfit looks like a rejected design for the Catholic Imagination Met Gala.

Alejandra Espinoza in Philipp Plein

The contrast lining is very cool here. Also, THOSE ABS. Wow. Do we think they're painted on? I mean, obviously regardless she has strong abs but I'm always curious whether people airbrush theirs.

A Boogie Wit da Hoodie

Well, I am in love with his name. Also, he's so cute.

Charli D'Amelio in Shushutong

I like this, but wonder if it's in a weird length vortex where it needs to be a hair shorter.

Renee Rapp

This is a confusing and terrible mess. If you zoom in, it looks like she literally ripped it.

Hannah Berner

So much LEATHER right now.

Kathy and Nicky Hilton

Color me surprised that Kathy Hilton decided the VMAs were her Tuesday night hotspot. Is she trying to pass herself off as Paris?

Black By Far Dominated VMAs Fashion

Taylor, Anitta, Bebe, Rita, Demi... the list is long.
