## Jennifer Hudson

That leather napkin does nothing for anyone. It won't even absorb spills, so it fails at napkinry. It's not a proper peplum, so it misses there. It's just... waste, at her waist.

When she came out to sing with Macklemore... it was hard to capture the horror of what APPEAR to be leggings with a GIANT FRINGE OVERLAY tickling them, like the adornment on an interior doorway at the home of an Old West fortune teller.

## Jennifer Hudson, Mary Lambert

And it MAY actually be A BELT. It is an accessory... TO THE CRIME. It is aiding and abetting fug in the first degree.

## Jennifer Hudson, Mary Lambert, Macklemore, Ryan Lewis

However, we need to discuss her hair: It's SO CUTE, right? Bearing in mind it had been underneath a wig most of the night, although it still looks good. Why does she bother with the long banged wig? The sassy short 'do is fantastic on her, and I thought that the whole time she was singing. It shows off her pretty face so well. Also, Mary Lambert looked great. I felt bad for her that they decided to try and step all over her vocals with guest star power, but then they let her sing with J.Hud at the end and I guess she still had her moment, and she was so lovely, so I hope everyone is pleased.

[VMAs Fug Carpet: Jennifer HudsonI have notes on this one, but they pale in comparison to my feelings about what she wore on-stage. \[Photos: Getty, WENN, My Dumb iPhone\]![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/wenn20600685.xml)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/vmas-fug-carpet-jennifer-hudson-08-2013/)
