Halle Berry has the most iconic present-day pixie, although Michelle Williams is definitely making a run at her for that; I think Rihanna looks as good in it as they do. Well, maybe not Halle. That hair is basically perfect on her. But it's nice when RiRi doesn't hide her pretty face.

However, the full dress isn't doing her justice. That is incredibly, incredibly unflattering to her shape. Like a giant stretched-out tied-off gym sock.

Even the open back doesn't help. Couldn't her best girlfriend Katy Perry (seriously, I am quite charmed by their BFFship) have told her that her bod deserves better? But I will say that she generally looks so much more stunning and striking when she keeps it simple, so at least she had the right idea. Just not the right gym sock.

Well, let's get the good news out of the way: I think I'm on board with Rihanna's new hair. It looked better in motion, on the telecast, but I think it's totally sassy and cute on her and I hope to God that Chris Brown does not ever get to run his fingers through it because WHAT. If those rumors are true, then my head may explode all over the inevitable Us Weekly cover story. Let's back out, though, and check out the rest of her ensemble to see if she did justice to the 'do.
