This is apparently Oscar de la Renta, and well DONE, my girl, for nailing down that brand and pulling it out at a great time (she co-hosted the red carpet). It's super young and fun and striking and I just love it on her.

This is fine, too, but also a little disposable. She made the correct costume change. I wish she'd given this to Chloe Moretz.

It's bothering me how much I feel like I've seen this before (my memory is for the birds). But it also looks super cheap, so I'm forced to conclude that, in fact, maybe it's just a bad knockoff of something. If it even just was a mini-skirt and the top tucked all the way into it, we'd be cooking with at least a QUARTER tank of gas, but alas. She's much cuter than this spiky plastic tail.

Alexandra was just cast to play Aaliyah in the biopic from which Zendaya was apparently fired for... reasons that I forget but which seemed sort of murky at the time. (I think "officially" Zendaya was unhappy with the production values and that Aaliyah's family was not cooperating, but the rumor mill has it that the Internet's HUGE freakout over the casting led producers to boot her with the understanding that she could say whatever she wanted. DRAMA. If true.)

ANYWAY, this is the kind of hideous dress that Zendaya is probably cackling at by the glow of her laptop. "ROOKIE MOVE," she might think, before texting her mother to pick up more milk at the store.

... Sure, okay. It's fine. I feel like Jessica Simpson would look good in it. She probably wouldn't wear lipstick with it EITHER, though.

This photo confused the hell out of me because it literally looks like she has a massive erection that matches her dress. But it's the tie on the BACK of the dress that has blown forward. But now I can't unsee the sword.

That's both quite edgy and cool, and like a glamorous body cast.

This effect is fine, I guess, but I don't think her zipper goes down far enough to cover her underpinnings. Also the more I contemplate it, the more this kind of looks like she stretched out a hoodie very creatively.

I guess Becky G is something that's happening, because she did stuff on the pre-show and has done some morning shows. And you know what New Talent On The Block means: visible granny panties and incomplete skirts. It's like clockwork.
