And the front view, bless it, is crazy-town. I actually think if this had been solely pants or solely a skirt, it would have been gorgeous on her, and I appreciate the wackjobbery of it as a hybrid skant-type situation, but seriously...you are not at the Oscars or at Cannes and while in general I myself sometimes tend to show up over-dressed if I don't know what other people are wearing (because I like to take my outfits out, and also because you can always claim you're off to somewhere fancy later), this feels a little uncool for the VMAs, especially with her buttoned-up hair and makeup. You can dress anything down with styling, but that really did not happen here.
