You can see her being soothingly cult-y in this. [Her profile is cute -- I really like what we've seen of her personality -- and the Jonathan Taylor Thomas bit is funny](https://www.wmagazine.com/culture/dakota-johnson-the-lost-daughter-interview-2022?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). ## Kirsten Dunst ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances3-1642025809.jpg) This photo makes me laugh, and I would watch a movie based on it, starring Kirsten as a housewife who longs to be a spy. Like Alias combined with Agatha Raisin, but set in the '50s or '60s. [I always like listening to/reading what Kirsten has to say](https://www.wmagazine.com/culture/kirsten-dunst-power-of-the-dog-interview-2022?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and I appreciated the bit where she took a script to several acting teachers to find one who would reignite her love for it. Just goes to show you are never too far along in your career to shake it up. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances18-1642025885.jpg) I also like the whimsy here -- the photographer showing his own feet in socks and heels at the bottom is such a funny, giddy add. ## Jake Gyllenhaal ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances6-1642025842.jpg) I love this photo. I think it's because it has a vibe of your darling brother playing dress-up with your kids and being a totally fun uncle. [His answer in the story about Brad Pitt is cute](https://www.wmagazine.com/culture/jake-gyllenhaal-the-guilty-interview-2022?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). ## Alana Haim ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances5-1642025831.jpg) Well, I guess we're all going to keep our Haims straight now! This is a weird combination of a tennis skirt and a diaper. [Alana comes across as very likable in her profile](https://www.wmagazine.com/culture/alana-haim-licorice-pizza-interview-2022?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), which makes me feel bad for how much I hated every aspect of Licorice Pizza (even Bradley Cooper's weirdo antics went on way too long). The way she describes her first day on set makes it sound like no one knew exactly what they were doing, and what a shitty thing to do to a first-time performer? Ugh. Anyway. ## Alana Haim ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances50-1642025926.jpg) I guess this is her argument for being cast as Cher in something? ## Ruth Negga ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances11-1642025853.jpg) It feels like Passing lost some momentum and that's a shame, because it sounds so interesting. I'm looking forward to watching it. At this point I have to prioritize I guess, and Power of the Dog is getting so much frontrunner attention that I have to check that box first I suppose. I'm guessing they styled the photo based on the premise of the movie, somewhat? The eyebrows are not her own but also not what she wears in the film (though ARE of the era), but she IS blond in it. ([Here's her profile](https://www.wmagazine.com/culture/ruth-negga-passing-interview-2022?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances54-1642025938.jpg) Not into that dress. ## Jake Gyllenhaal ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances45-1642025906.jpg) "It was a GREAT swinger party, but I might have vacuumed up my keys." ## Saniyya Sidney ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances41-1642025896.jpg) She's really good as Venus Williams, [and how wild that she not only didn't know tennis but had to switch hands to be Venus](https://www.wmagazine.com/culture/saniyya-sidney-king-richard-interview?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I don't know why they had her clutch at herself in this photo as if she's pregnant (with the world's highest bump), though. ## Saniyya Sidney ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances12-1642025864.jpg) "Ma'am? You forgot your flower." ## Anthony Ramos ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances17-1642025875.jpg) This is serving "Don't Get Mixed Up With The Sultry Lifeguard." ([Here's his piece](https://www.wmagazine.com/culture/anthony-ramos-in-the-heights-interview-2022?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).) ## Filippo Scotti ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances49-1642025916.jpg) He is the kid who someone on Twitter called Timoteo Chalametto or something, and I am DUMB and was also maybe tired so I bought it for a second. He's in The Hand of God, which is about Maradona's illegal goal in the World Cup, so having him balance a very TINY ball on his finger is amusing. [It felt a little like they didn't know what to ask him, though](https://www.wmagazine.com/culture/filippo-scotti-the-hand-of-god-interview?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances71-1642025949.jpg) Oh thank God, it had been a while since we had a flower. ## Jake G ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/01/wmag.2022.best_.performances74-1642025960.jpg) "Mail me the petals! I'll dry them into the most divine pot pourri commemorating our day together."
