In full disclosure, she IS at this event in a professional capacity. Per Informative Caption, Gwendoline Christie "joins St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in celebrating the St. Regis British Open for The Cowdray Gold Cup Polo Final at Cowdray Park Polo Club." First, that sentence has a LOT of proper nouns. Second, I think she looks fantastic here; I appreciate that she generally styles herself in a more editorial and/or moderately kookier fashion and I wouldn't want to move away from that. But this is a peaceful and soothing detour into something a little more buttoned-down and a change can be pleasant every now and then. She looks like the absolutely most successful and classiest realtor on a London-based version of *Selling Sunset*, except not the one *The Guardian* called "[the most hateable TV show ever made](https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/article/2024/may/22/buying-london-review-probably-the-most-hateable-tv-show-ever-made?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)." A different one, specializing primarily in real-estate-based competence porn and, clearly, well-made suits.
