You knew it was coming: We did [the 1940s-70s](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/capes-and-feathers-and-tiaras-oh-my-the-golden-globes-of-yore-02-2021/), and [the 1980s,](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/big-hair-everywhere-its-the-golden-globes-of-the-1980s-02-2021/) and now we're into the Golden Globes of the 1990s, beginning with this flashback covering the first half of the decade. We all remember [Geena Davis's nearly nude Emmy dress](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/geena-davis-deployed-her-infamous-sheer-dress-20-years-ago-04-2020/), but it turns out that eight years earlier, she had gone almost equally experimental with her erogenous zones. It's basically the exact opposite of what Julia Roberts wore to collect her first Globe.
