I noticed that Diane Kruger was out recently promoting the newest *Dangerous Liaisons* adaptation -- the American title is *The Seduction*, while the French is *Merteuil,* after its heroine, but they're both on HBO and in French -- and I decided to make sure I hadn't missed any of her events. WELL. I had. I really, really had. Let's catch up.

PS: Hot Chef Gabriel from *Emily in Paris* is apparently the villain in this, [and the New York Times says he's terrific](https://www.nytimes.com/2025/11/12/arts/television/the-seduction-hbo-max.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). (The NYT also gave me no real information about when we can watch this show, which is annoying from a place I turn to for, you know, *information*. It starts on Friday. I will watch, I love a *Dangerous Liaisons.)*
