The inspiration for this collection was cited as both the roaring '20s and the boxy '80s homages of today. And then also just the stuff Vauthier makes that attracts attention. The result is a collection that doesn't so much fuse those things as ask them to coexist on the same runway, but the net effect is: We'll see some of it, even if the overall collection feels a little flat.
