I feel like this Grammys had a sort of low turnout -- and some of that feeling stems from the fact that some people chose not to walk the red carpet, perhaps because the Kobe Bryant news just had a lot of folks feeling somewhat stunned, I think. But also I wonder if some people decided to give this year a pass given [the current roiling scandal that the Grammys are possibly fixed and riddled with what the New York Times called "malfeasance and rot](https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/25/arts/music/grammys-controversy.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)."

How do you segue from "malfeasance and rot" into outfits? I have no idea!
