Don't look so shocked, Cate! Yes, from this angle it does seem possible that you might be wearing a matador jacket, but YOU ARE NOT.

This is crazy in a lot of ways. Well, more accurately, it is what Tim Gunn would dub "a lot of look." The bodice detailing, the velvet, the pockets -- it's like a very fancy holiday card turned into a dress. But I like the pure excess of it all.

This is lovely, too, in that I'm The Leader Of An Alien Race That's Going To a Formal Event Prior To Taking Over Your Planet kind of way, but also it maybe doesn't fit right. Is that even possible? Am I crazy?
