This is probably the slide where I should note that I cried at the Unbroken ad last night. I can't help it! I cannot resist the triumph of the human spirit, you guys!
Angie's dates are Chelsea pensioners Cecil Baker and James Walter Fellows, and they look VERY sharp. (A Chelsea pensioner is basically just a person over 65 who's retired from the British army, if my research is right, although apparently the terminology used to more often refer to said pensioner then moving into housing in Chelsea. Like, army housing, not just a great flat in Chelsea they came across for their golden years.) Given the subject matter of Unbroken, it seems right that this premiere featured a lot of military folk.
I am incapable of resisting a cape, even if it's a cape that's KIND of like a mini-skirt she's just plonked over her head.
Would we have preferred a metallic shoe? A very SUBTLE metallic, not like a crazy blinged out stripper shoe. I vote yes.
This is the best shot of the back that I could nab, but as you see it has a wee structured bow at the waist and many many buttons.
Here's your piano picture. For ALL of them.
