It is impressive that she even looks good wearing a hat that looks like a Pepperidge Farm Pirouette cookie glued onto a chapati. Actually, I think that hat is charming. Bear in mind: I am also hungry right now.

I really love this outfit on Her Majesty. I read something a couple of years ago wherein a whole clutch of British designers were surveyed to see who the best dressed woman in the UK was, and the Queen won. Rightly so: that is COORDINATED.

That coat is, like her wedding gown, McQueen, and it is divine. I also love this hat, and want to use it for some kind of very posh millinery-inspired Skee Ball game.

I also enjoy imagining that they're recreating that old SNL skit with Martin Short as the synchronized swimmer who is illustrating how best to artfully point at people: "You, you! I know you! I know you!" And that the person they're pointing at is some dude who got hella wasted at The Wedding.

This, I just like because she's so pretty, and the kid is so cute, and Harry looks SO PLOTTY. If this were a soap opera, this would be the shot right before Harry turned away from the group and soliloquized, "THEY WILL PAY. THEY WILL ALL PAY, WHEN MY SECRET PLAN TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD BY CREATING A MASTER RACE OF GINGER POLO PLAYERS SUCCEEDS. MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA."
In real life, I presume he's actually just thinking, like, "I can't believe me DVR didn't record the most recent Real Housewives reunion. TIVO AND I ARE GOING TO HAVE WORDS. NO ONE KEEPS HARRY FROM ANDY COHEN."

There is apparently a LOT of Royal Event Going when one is a princess. Or a duchess. Whatever. A lot of REG and a LOT of HATS and COATS. The ones in question here are also pretty delicious.

More hats. More coats. This one -- worn for Prince Philip's birthday church service -- isn't my favorite. I love the color, but it's all so MATCHY. I do love that I think Kate is wearing, under her coat, the same Zara dress she wore the morning after The Wedding. THEY ARE JUST LIKE US. Except for all the castles and the millions. And the televised wedding ceremony. But other than that.
Kate and Pippa
Busy weekend, topped off by Kate and Pippa attending the wedding of a friend. I enjoy that Kate repeated her hat from earlier in the week, and I LOVE THAT DRESS WITH ALL THAT IS IN ME. I want it.
Pippa's look, I can live without. I feel like that satin coat makes her look about 25 years older than she is. Now that Harry's single, Pips, YOU HAVE TO UP YOUR GAME.
