I think this is adorable. It's loud and crazy and fun and perfect for the promotional trail of a big popcorn movie in Japan, which has its own a loud and crazy and fun fashion culture. Also, she went for it with the shoes, which I appreciate. I'm not sure they GO, but at least she swung at the pitch.

Okay, from this angle, yes, I grant you that it looks like she's wearing a vaguely religious doorknocker, and then over her groin, a giant magical peephole into a new intestinal dimension. But I still think it's weirdly perfect for the event. I ALSO enjoy that she appears to be sizing up BB-8, as if she's worried it might decide it's found its soulmate in the eye of her pelvic lens.
