# Well Played, Dita Von Teese

This is a great example of how every dress -- well, okay, *most* dresses -- have a time and a place, and also proof that I understand that occasionally one must turn to sheers for effect:

If, like, Bella Thorne wore this to the Kids Choice Awards, I'd look terribly askance. If Kerry Washington popped up wearing this to the Emmys, I would truly wonder if she'd fallen and hit her head on the toilet and was distracted by inventing the flux capacitor when in discussion with her stylist. If Cate Blanchett wore this...okay, I'd probably be okay with it. Regardless, there's no denying that this dress is, well, much of a muchness. However, she's also wearing it to the premiere of her new burlesque show at the Crazy Horse in Paris, and this dress SCREAMS, "welcome to my new burlesque show, here at one of Paris's most famous cabarets!" It is saucy, but that's also entirely the point.
