If you're surprised that my first -- okay, fine, second -- thought upon looking at this photo was, "Wow, look how impeccably shaped her eyebrows are," then you may not know me as well as you thought.

I also enjoy that Emma went casual for their day with a charitable organization, yet didn't sacrifice any cuteness nor whimsy. It would have looked insane if she were in five-inch heels for this, and likewise, it would've looked rude if she'd shown up in wrinkled sweatpants and a hoodie.

Admittedly, I am not sure what the deal is with her dress -- I would have liked it better without X marking the spot, I think -- but I DO really fancy his pants. Which is not a double entendre of any kind. They're great jeans.

Hmm. I also really wish the buttons were lying properly on this. Maybe this isn't the win I hoped it was.
His habit of taking iPhone pictures everywhere they go is endearing. Like, "Someday I'll want to show these to our grandchildren, even if we do not share those grandchildren and I have to come find you in the wilds of Calabasas."

A good trenchcoat must always get its due.

She seems to enjoy the tiny collars lately. I like this, though - a bit funereal for the Today show, perhaps, but maybe that was just her nod to Ann Curry being allegedly booted because her incessant gravitas makes people want to punch the TV set. NOT EVERY STORY IS THE SAME AMOUNT OF SAD, Ann. Overweight cat does not equal war hero with missing limb, does not equal Where Are There Cheap Homes For sale?, does not equal OMG MADONNA NIP SLIP... it's okay sometimes to admit that the stories they're making you do are rampantly nonessential. Unlike Emma's shoes. Those may be essential to me RIGHT THIS MINUTE.

P.S., Young Hollywood, I think you're witnessing How To Get Out Of A Car Gracefully And Without Flashing Your Lady Widgets 101. Take notes.
