Oh, Emma Watson. We've said it before but we will continue to say it: Thank you for not growing up to be Lindsay Lohan. Double thank you for how incredulously you refuted the rumor that you were going to be in *50 Shades of Gray* (on Twitter: "Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life." EXACTLY) Also, I am pretty sure your shoes are amazing.

They are, indeed, delicious -- and I think they're helping keep this dress from looking too bridal. I mean, you COULD get married in this, and it would be very chic of you, but you don't look at her and hear the wedding march. In part, I think, because the dress is white AND cream, rather than just one shade.

Which is fine with me, because my personal uptightness -- though wide-ranging and obviously nearly debilitating -- doesn't actually spill over into that particular arena. Winter white is so great, y'all! I once tried on and did not buy an amazing winter white coat at Banana Republic like eight years ago and I still regret it. (I rejected it with the feeling that it would get too dirty, which....come on. I live in Los Angeles and I have TWO vintage fur capes. When has practicality ever been a real concern in my outerwear? Anyway.
