'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Photocall - The 8th Rome Film Festival

I am also endless amused by how the dudes in any given movie can show up at a photocall wearing jeans and a sweater and essentially exactly whatever they would wear to a casual brunch with someone's parents, and Jennifer Lawrence has to wear a cocktail dress.

At least the cocktail dress in question is extremely cute. And while I was originally unmoved on the subject of her new hair, as you are all aware, I now think it's really sassy on her -- it seems like they're styling it a little tougher than they were right off the bat. I APPROVE. And I am sure she's super-relieved to hear it.

I don't know what is happening here, but I hope Josh lives through it. Actually, I find the J Law playfully putting him into a chokehold totally cute because it's SUCH a thing you'd do to your sibling. I always enjoy it when people get along in a charming manner. Like, say what you will about Twilight, but Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner all clearly enjoyed each other's company and were friends, and that made interviews with them so much more entertaining. It's unrealistic to expect coworkers to get along all the time, and that IS what actors are, but it's very charming when they do. Also, I like to think that Josh and Liam decided to basically match.

I don't know what that badge-looking thing on her skirt is -- I literally just touched my laptop screen because I thought it might be some schmutz on my computer -- but otherwise, I think this is really graceful and lovely on her. Phew.

"HOLLA, ROME!"

I've decided that this is just a bizarre ritual they perform before every screening.

Well Played, Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson
The premieres continue apace, this time in Rome. I love it when the Hunger Games trio stands in the height order. I'm sure Josh Hutcherson agrees. (Although, honestly, The Hutch seems like a breezy good sport. I feel like that guy doesn't give a damn about how tall he is in comparison to Jennifer Lawrence.) [Photos: Getty]
