I love this dress. This is exactly what I would wear if I had a job that required me to wear, you know, something professional as opposed to what I am wearing right now, which is jeans and no shoes. Although, between you and me, I kind of wish the black trope l'oeil necklace were a jazzier color. Like a neon, against the grey? Just spit-balling.

Just looking at this picture, it's easy to tell which of these two people has ever used an iron before.

Later, Kate (that's the "Team GB Official Supporter's Scarf for London 2012" btw) popped over to Olympic Park to meet the field hockey teams. I had no idea field hockey was even an Olympic sport and I am a person who is REALLY into the Olympics. Anyway, she looks totally cute. I have a serious weakness for bright pants. You should see this plaid pair I have. They're completely ridiculous.

Luckily, she changed before playing. One can not play field hockey in heels and a blazer. Also: those jeans look cuter with flats, I think.

I couldn't resist the action shot.

Changing lanes rapidly: Sophie Wessex did NOT shy from a hat when she went to some church-y event with Her Madj this week. I mean, that is A Hat. It's almost TWO hats. It's at LEAST a Hat and a Half.

One of the things that differentiate A Hat from just a boring old hat is the inability to get in and out of cars easily.

The other thing is that A Hat can be thrown into the local river and potentially be mistaken for water fowl.
