The end of 2022 seems poised to be The Time of Kate Hudson: In addition to fantastic early buzz for her part [in *The Glass Onion*](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/everyone-says-the-glass-onion-is-fantastic-09-2022/), she's getting good reviews for *Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon* \-- a movie that sounded so familiar to me, and I couldn't figure out why until Wikipedia told me it screened at Venice *last* year, and I guess this is the distribution slot it got. It's nice to see her snagging grittier and campier roles, and although her wet-look hair looks like she broke her blow-dryer, it's EXCELLENT that her dress here is so much better than [anything she wore in Italy in 2021](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/kate-hudson-did-a-thing-09-2021/). If you're going to have a career moment, do it without Mônot -- a motto that should be on every stylist's studio wall.
