## The Duchess Of Cambridge Visits The North East

No William on this tour, because his childhood nanny died and he was off at her memorial service. Poor Wills and Harry, I think she basically raised them (especially after Diana's death). Kate held up their end of the Appearances Calendar. Our photo service explains, " the focus of this visit is to learn about \[a charity's\] work with children living with parental substance misuse and addiction." She then visited a local civic center. Or, since it's English, "centre." I feel like sometimes it's useful to get the context; for one thing, it explains why she looks fairly conservative, which is a conversation we had in the comments of yesterday's post about her. I think she is a conservative dresser in general, but you also can't pop up at a local charity first thing in the morning in a meat dress. She loves those boots; I dig that belt.

I wish I could see what she's wearing underneath this coat. That little girl is a cutie.

You know that Pantene has someone trying to figure out how to get Kate to do a shampoo ad for them. They have someone on that 24 hours a day.

[Well Played, Kate MiddletonWe're in the Super Cute Coats portion of our year.
