# Well Played, Kiernan Shipka

I can't find any photos in our subs of the event she attended, but here at least is a shot of Kiernan leaving, so we can marvel at her outfit:

It's a two-piece Preen, and I think it's lively and unusual. And what I really love about it is that -- [unlike the runway version, where it hung loose over the skirt](https://nymag.com/thecut/runway/2014/spring/london/rtw/preen/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \-- she tucked in the shirt, and as a result the whole thing is *more* chic and streamlined. If that came from her, it's doubly impressive to have the composure to wear it the way it works for you, and not the way it's "meant" to be worn; if it's from someone else, that person is smart. Basically, Team Shipka continues to deserve a raise, and should be on the short list of every family with a kid on Disney or Nickelodeon.
