I could have made SO MANY jokes about a 1960s Miss Havisham lurking about the corners of your country home like a wraith, secretly reading your mail and rolling her eyes about color television. Instead I just have to say the following words -- and make no mistake, they burn -- "Hey, that top makes a pretty cute dress."

I can recalibrate my internal cranky sensors, however, by noting that I'd have worn another shoe. TAKE THAT.
