Your big princess moment -- literally! -- calls for a proper gown, and there is no one who does Proper Amazing Gowns better, I think, than Elie Saab at the moment. If I were in need of a tremendous show-stopper, that's where I'd go first, too.

Whoever is doing the styling here is nailing it. Her clutch is about to strike midnight, even. (I wonder if she changed into a pumpkin outfit for the afterparty?) One of you said the other day that Elie Saab really knows how to use illusion netting properly, and I have to agree. The top of this could have SO EASILY slide into Long Program-ville, but I don't think it did.

I decided this show was snapped just as she caught sight of Cate Blanchett. Doesn't everyone clasp their hands with joy when Cate Blanchett enters their eyeline? I certainly should hope so.
