First of all, I love her haircut. I wish I could have this on my head, but it would look....you guys, it would be the biggest mistake I've made since that time I thought that Dove soap smelled so delicious, it must also taste really good. (I was 4.) (It DOES NOT.) She has the right face for it, though. And I like the more strawberry blonde color -- it's extremely Mia Farrow In Rosemary's Baby and while you don't want to BE Rosemary (what with the whole Satan worshiping neighbors and the husband making the deal with the devil), LOOKING like her is not a bad idea. Also: the beading on this is groovy.

THOSE SHOES WILL BE MINE.

Basically, I feel like this dress takes her usual look -- somewhat neutral, 60s-inspired, with a modest neckline -- and makes it really work. She has a tendency to look a little bit matronly (I think because her boobs are bigger than always works for the mod look she favors), but here I think she just looks great. I just hope this isn't a calm before the storm and she doesn't pop up at the Oscars and the Globes wearing a series of Crazy. I guess we're about to find out.
