Have I previously mentioned that I am secretly delighted that the fashion world has re-embraced Birkenstocks? Because I have a pair that I secretly love (and I am NOT a crunchy-granola dresser, like, AT ALL, as you surely know by now) and have for YEARS, like since the first time we were all wearing Birkenstocks. (I've loved them since then. I haven't HAD THEM since then. They would stink.) I am not an Ugly Shoe Lover...except in this instance. Insert cliche about stopped clocks HERE.

[Well Played, Miranda Kerr in EscadaIn which I, an ardent lover of the ladylike day-dress, confess a secret love for Birkenstocks. I'M NOT ASHAMED (now that they're back in style). \[Photo: Fame/Flynet\]![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/ffn_api_escada_opening_072914_51490170.xml)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/well-played-miranda-kerr-in-escada-08-2014/)
