Have I previously mentioned that I am secretly delighted that the fashion world has re-embraced Birkenstocks? Because I have a pair that I secretly love (and I am NOT a crunchy-granola dresser, like, AT ALL, as you surely know by now) and have for YEARS, like since the first time we were all wearing Birkenstocks. (I've loved them since then. I haven't HAD THEM since then. They would stink.) I am not an Ugly Shoe Lover...except in this instance. Insert cliche about stopped clocks HERE.
