I love how dapper this suit is on him. I need a new word to use, though. "Dapper" is overplayed by me. "Sharp" feels like something my grandfather would say, but it's also pretty accurate. Other contenders: Spiffy, dashing, snazzy, dreamy, swanky, and Fast Train to YESville.
Here he looks kind of like a goofy toff at a seaside polo party. Or like the commoner date of a Serena Van Der Woodsen type who handed him a photo of Chuck Bass and a Land's End catalog and said, "Do your best."
I love this, right up until we get to the animal hide shoes, which... Thomas Jane would approve, though -- I mean, if you HAVE to imprison your feet in a thankless sweatbox, might as well make it a funny one.
I threw this in for comparison -- last we saw him, he was filming a movie and looking EEEEEVIL and kind of greasy and I think we all need to celebrate the fact that THAT era of his career is momentarily behind him.
Because... THIS FACE. Lady Mary is going to have a lot of [SPOILER] to deal with as she [SPOILERY SPOILERS].
