I love how adorably shellshocked and exhausted they seem. It's really....normal and charming.
LOOK AT HIS LITTLE FACE. He is so scrunchie and adorable.
He even already has the Royal Wave down.
"Hey, dude. We had a baby."
Royals...they're just like us. THEY HAND OFF THE BABY.
They carry car seats!
Something about her gazing at the baby while he waves at all these people who love him is really touching.
SO MANY FEELINGS. First, they seemed so emotional and happy and tired and a little pleasantly shell-shocked, like any couple that has a new baby. It was incredibly touching to see William clearly so loving -- he rubbed Kate's back for most of the presser -- and..., you know, he just always seems like such a nice dude. He carried the car-seat out and then drove them home, like a normal couple (you know...considering). Something about knowing how sad Will's life has been with the loss of his mother, it's very touching to see him with his own happy little family. And I think there is zero coincidence that Kate is wearing polka dots, just as Diana did when she presented William.
Plus, I think she's wearing her old favorite espadrilles.
Off home!
"Let me tell YOU something. This baby is marvelous!"
