# Well Played, Retta

I had reservations about the necklace with this, for a second.

I wondered, specifically, if it was too monochrome. But then I imagined it with some turquoise, and although it was nice, it also took things to an It's A Chico's Kind of Day place, so in that sense the divine Donna Meagle was right to pick a necklace that still makes a statement, but just not at top volume. That lets the funky cape-dress take center stage, and I LOVE IT on her, and I hope she spent the entire party sweeping in and out of rooms, dropping dramatic bombs like, "I wouldn't tap *that* ass with a hammer," and, "You know, Drake and I had fun, but he's so *needy*."
