I wish we could see this dress in its entirety, but I am pretty sure that it's fabulous, and I want those shoes.

I wish this were just a weeee hair longer. Not because she's too old for a skirt this short or whatever, but just because I feel like it's proportions look a little wonkus? That might be helped if she were wearing shoes without an ankle strap, although those shoes on their own merits are pretty cute. I admit to having a weakness for an ankle strap. Yes, her dress appears to have a half-cape, which...well, I think you can guess how I feel about that. Go full cape, Sandy. Look to Gwyneth.

[Well Played, Then Fug or Fab Sandra Bullock (and Intern George)It has recently come to my attention that perhaps I want to be Sandra Bullock. Now, I mean -- now that the whole Jesse James debacle is firmly behind her. Because I would really rather not live through learning that my husband is secretly getting it on with anyone, much less a Nazi sympathizer. Basically, one of my rules of thumb is to avoid Nazis at all cost. As a piece of advice, I feel that one is quite strong. But right now? Let's take stock: career is going gangbusters; she has an adorable child; she recently rode around Venice on a boat with Clooney and she's snuggling with him here; she apparently has an unending array of charming day-dresses, possesses generally acceptable cocktail dresses, sports mostly good shoes, and like everyone, looks hotter in sunglasses.
