Shailene Woodley

She DOES look great in this -- springy and ladylike and young, and very gracefully handling the growing-out of the Hazel Grace haircut for "The Fault In Our Stars," which people often abbrev to TFioS, which must make the Verizon FiOS people happy.

"Sooooooo, Kate Winslet. Um. We've met? It was nice? How many scenes did we even HAVE together? Shouldn't Emma Thompson be here? Where is Leo?"

And then Shai went and wore this to a private screening. Now, it WAS referred to as a private screening, but I think that just means no random contest winners and such? Clearly it isn't THAT private because freaking Getty Images got invited. She couldn't put on some real shoes, or some pants, or a skirt, or A PIECE OF REAL CLOTHING? Or even just wear the Preen outfit on over to this? I get that she's supposedly super relaxed and whatnot, but this looks like a FarmersOnly.com speed dating event.

I mean, he's not in board shorts and Tevas. Come on, Shai. Side note: He looks goooooood.

Well Played: Shailene Woodley in Preen, And Then WTF
If anything confirms that the Hollywood Walk of Fame is essentially meaningless (beyond the fact that the stars are purchased by fans or studios or the stars themselves, or a combo: "The Starz cable network, for example, paid for Dennis Hopper's star as part of the promotion for its series Crash," per Wikipedia), it's the fact that 95 percent of the time, the people who turn up to introduce/support the honorees are just in their most recent -- and possibly currently premiering WHAT A COINCIDENCE -- movie, as if somehow those people are the only ones whose presence would be so meaningful. Not that anyone out there should be SAD if they get a Walk of Fame star, but Kanye West can really stop stressing about Kim's lack of one.
